Day by day program
Day 1: Arrive Lusaka
Upon your arrival at Lusaka Airport, a friendly and knowledgeable representative from Latitude 15 will be there to warmly greet you and assist you with your transfer to the hotel. You can sit back, relax, and enjoy the scenic journey to your accommodation, while your guide shares fascinating insights about the vibrant culture and history of Zambia.
Day 2: Lusaka - Lower Zambezi
After breakfast and your morning activity, it's time to bid farewell to the lodge and transfer to the airport for your light aircraft flight to Jeki Airport. Upon arrival, your guide will be waiting to assist you with your transfer to the lodge, where you can check in and enjoy an afternoon game drive. The Lower Zambezi National Park is famous for its abundant wildlife, including hippos, buffalos, crocodiles, fish eagles, and herds of elephants. The rugged and unspoilt landscape is a vast floodplain dotted with indigenous woodlands. Visitors can look forward to a range of exciting activities along the Zambezi River, including game drives, walking safaris, canoe trips, and excellent tiger fishing.
Day 3-4: Lower Zambezi
During your stay in Lower Zambezi, you will have ample time to explore the wilderness and partake in a range of exciting activities as per the lodge’s daily programme. Start your day with a wake-up call followed by a morning safari, and return to the lodge for breakfast and leisure time. Alternatively, you can opt for a bush walk. After enjoying a scrumptious lunch, head out for a late afternoon safari, and return to the lodge in time for dinner
Day 5: Lower Zambezi - South Luangwa National Park
After a delightful breakfast, you will check out from your camp and embark on a light aircraft transfer to Mfuwe Airport. From there, you will be road transferred to the lodge where you will spend the next four nights exploring the stunning wilderness. After settling into your room, you will be treated to a delicious meal and a cup of coffee before heading out on your afternoon game drive. Located on the banks of the Luangwa River, the northern and southern Luangwa National Parks boast some of the most breathtaking and untouched wilderness in Africa. Thanks to the parks' successful anti-poaching campaigns, the area has become a world-renowned wildlife haven. The South Luangwa National Park is famous for its walking safaris, which allow visitors to view elephants, hippos, and even lions up close under the guidance of professional and knowledgeable armed guides.
Day 6-8: South Luangwa
Over the next few days, immerse yourself in the beauty of this untouched wilderness as you explore the incredible wildlife and landscapes on offer. Each day, you'll enjoy a thrilling game drive or bush walk in the morning, followed by a leisurely breakfast and some downtime. You can also opt for a bush walk to really get up close and personal with the animals. After a delicious lunch, set out on another exciting safari in the late afternoon, returning just in time for a delicious dinner under the stars. Day 9: South Luangwa - Lake Malawi
After a delightful breakfast, you will be whisked away on a scenic transfer to Mfuwe Airport where you will board your Ulendo Airlink flight to Likoma Island. Once you arrive, you will be greeted by the welcoming staff who will escort you to your stunning lodge. Nestled away on the hidden gem of Likoma Island, Kaya Mawa will enchant you with its surreal ambiance and blissful atmosphere. Day 10 - 12: Lake Malawi

Whether you decide to lounge on the sandy beaches, indulge in refreshing dips in the crystal-clear water, or simply unwind on your private deck, the choice is yours. The stunning sunrises and sunsets, as well as the shimmering reflections of the lake at night, are just some of the magical moments you can savor during your stay on this captivating island
Day 13: Departure
After a delicious breakfast, it's time to say goodbye to Malawi. Check out from your lodge and you will be transferred to the airport for your flight back home.
