Day by day program
Day 1: Arrive Botswana
Upon your arrival at Maun Airport, you will be met by one of our friendly representatives who will guide you to your light aircraft for an unforgettable flight to Machaba Camp. The camp is named after the Sycamore Fig Tree, known locally as the tree of life in Setswana. Machaba Camp offers a unique and luxury safari experience in the heart of the African wilderness.
Day 2 - 3: Moremi Game Reserve
Your day in Moremi Game Reserve begins with an early morning game drive to witness the wildlife as they start their day. You'll have the opportunity to see a variety of animals in their natural habitats, such as lions, elephants, giraffes, and zebras. After the game drive, brunch is served, and you can spend some leisure time relaxing at the camp. In the afternoon, embark on another game drive, where you can explore the wilderness until sunset. The game drive includes a break for a sundowner drink, and afterwards, a night drive to spot nocturnal animals. As the day comes to an end, gather around the campfire and enjoy a delicious dinner before retreating to your cozy tent for the night.
Day 4: Moremi Game Reserve - Hwange National Park
After your morning activities, depart from Machaba Camp and board a light aircraft to Kasane Airport. A representative will meet you and assist with a road transfer to Hwange National Park, where you will continue your journey to Verney's Camp. This luxurious camp is situated in a private concession within Hwange National Park and overlooks Verney's Pan, a floodplain surrounded by teak forest. The waterhole at Verney's is frequented by various wildlife, including the iconic elephant herds of Hwange, providing a memorable experience of the African wilderness.
Day 5-6: Hwange National Park
Your day in Hwange National Park will begin with an early morning game drive, where you will have the opportunity to spot a variety of wildlife including elephants, lions, leopards, and buffalo. After your game drive, you will return to the camp for a delicious breakfast. You can then choose to relax at the camp, or take a guided bush walk to learn more about the local flora and fauna. In the afternoon, you will embark on another game drive to see more of the park's incredible wildlife. As the sun sets, you will stop for a sundowner drink and watch the stunning African sunset before returning to the camp. In the evening, you can enjoy a delicious dinner and share stories around the campfire before retiring to your cozy tent for the night.
