Day by day program
Day 1: Arrive Arusha
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, where you will be met by our representative at the airport and transferred to Arusha, where you will spend a night at a beautiful lodge. The lodge is situated in a working coffee plantation. You will be briefed about your safari and plan for your next day's departure time. Overnight Legendary Lodge on half board.
Day 2: Safari Tarangire National Park
After a sumptuous breakfast you will be transferred from Arusha to Chem Chem Lodge. Chem Chem Lodge is located in the northern Tanzania private concession near to the wildlife corridor adjoining Tarangire National Park. The camp delights in shared adventures and creating memories around a crackling campfire. Arrive for lunch and enjoy yourself in your private camp. Late evening you will go for a game drive and return back in time for dinner.
Day 3-4: Safari Tarangire
Guests can experience a variety of safari activities including game drives, walking safari and night game drive on private concession, off road is allowed and you will have your private vehicle. The concession is known for big Tuskers. One of the days you can go to Tarangire national park which is famous for having herds of up to 300 Elephants, however other wildlife and bird species inhabit within the park. It's the best place for doing game drives during the dry season where the Tarangire River is the only source of water in the area which flows throughout the year. The landscape is interesting due to the high number of baobab trees. Some of the common wildlife species within the park include wildebeest, zebra, who also migrate to Manyara national park during the rainy season because of too much mud which destroys their hooves. Late evening after game drive you will drive to the camp for dinner.
Day 5: Flight to Mwiba Private Reserve
Early morning after breakfast you will be transferred to Chem Chem Airstrip for the flight to Mwiba Airstrip in Mwiba Private Reserve. The flight will take approximately one hour and half. Upon arrival you will check in at Mwiba Lodge and enjoy your lunch. In the afternoon you can decide to relax by having a 45 minutes massage.
Day 6 - 7: Mwiba Private Reserve
Here you will enjoy the game drive in the private concession of Mwiba Wildlife Reserves. At Mwiba you will be able to do activities like, day and night game drive, walking safari, bush meals and sundowners. For those interested in a breathtaking scenic flight, a helicopter can be organized at extra cost. Get to experience an amazing cultural visit with the Datoga and Hadzabe tribe. Hadzabe is one of the last hunter gatherer tribes in Tanzania. They live a life almost free of possessions and are able to move by carrying what they have on their backs. They do not grow or store food and raise no livestock. This tribe requires no chiefs or leaders. The Datoga tribe are nomads and pastoralist, the women make themselves colorful by adorning traditional wear made from leather, copper, beads or iron.
Day 8: Flight to Western Serengeti
Early in the morning after breakfast you will be transferred from Mwiba Airstrip for your light flight to Sasakwa Airstrip in Grumeti Reserves. The flight takes approximately 1hour and a half. Upon arrival, you will meet your guide with a private safari vehicle and transfer you to Sasakwa Lodge is approximately 45 minutes. En- route you will enjoy the game drive and arrive at Sasakwa check in in time for lunch. During after noon you will enjoy the game drive in the wilderness.
Day 9-10: Singita Grumeti Reserve
Set in the 350,000-acre private Singita Grumeti Reserve, guests have exclusive access to the area’s prolific wildlife, including the world-renowned Great Migration. West Serengeti is commonly called the Western Corridor as the area takes the shape of a giant valley (running east to west) that is flanked to the north and south by hills. Game viewing highlights include the large herds of elephants and good concentrations of carnivores. This majestic array of flora and fauna makes West serengeti a must have destination in any luxury safari in Tanzania.
Day 11: Depature
This is your last day on safari, after breakfast you will be transferred to Sasakwa Airstrip for your flight to Arusha Airport which is approximately one hour and half. In Arusha you will have lunch and use a day room before traveling to the international airport for an outbound flight.
