Day by day program
Day 1: Arrive Nairobi
Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport where upon arrival, you will be welcomed and chauffeured to your hotel in Nairobi.
Day 2: Narobi -Amboseli
Breakfast at Hemingways Nairobi. Check-out and transfer to Wilson Airport Nairobi, gateway to the flying safaris in Kenya. Time to board the Executive Grand Caravan. Your Skysafari will now take to the Air! Flight to Amboseli National Park. After a scenic 45 minutes flight, you will land in the middle of the park, where the team from Tortilis Camp will warmly welcome you. Enjoy your first game drive en-route to the camp, where you will arrive in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive.
Day 3: Safari Amboseli
Rise early to watch the African plains game wake up on a game drive and stop for a bush breakfast. Hot lunch will be served at the lodge. If you feel like stretching your legs and seeing the wilderness from a different perspective this afternoon there is a walking safari. Alternatively, you can have another game drive, with both activities culminating in cocktails watching the sunset, before returning to camp for dinner.
Day 4: Amboseli - Loisaba Conservancy
Rise early for a game drive, back in time to the lodge for breakfast. Check out, and transfer back to the Amboseli airstrip. The plane will now take you to Loisaba Conservancy located in the region of Mount Kenya. The Loisaba Tented Camp will welcome you and you will be transferred to the Lodge, where lunch will be served. You will be offered a massage for pure relaxation, or alternatively go on a game drive. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge.
Day 5 - 6: Loisaba Conservancy
Your best chance of spotting game is early in the morning or late afternoon, so rise early and head off into the wilderness. The conservancy sits on the western edge of one of Kenya’s most important elephant movement corridors. After a morning filled with excitement return to the lodge to relax and to enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Explore more of Loisaba Conservancy on a game drive with sundowner drinks served overlooking the park, before returning to the lodge in time for dinner
Day 7: Loisaba Conservancy - Masai Mara
Enjoy a brisk nature walk while taking in the views over the landscape. Relax rest of the morning, lunch will be served overlooking the wilderness. Your Skysafari pilot will be waiting to take you on a 90-minute flight to the world famous Masai Mara where you land in the middle of the reserve. The Sand River Masai Mara Team will welcome you at the Keekorok airstrip. You will be transferred to the camp with a game drive en- route.
Day 8-9: Masai Mara
Early breakfast, followed by a full day of game viewing in the Masai Mara Game Reserve. Game viewing in the area is excellent, there’s quite a large concentration of big cats in this part of the Masai Mara and the terrain you’ll encounter during the drive is simply beautiful. A picnic hamper lunch will be served out in the wilds. Stop at an authentic Masai Village to interact and learn about the customs and culture of this colourful tribe. Back to the camp for a farewell dinner.
Day 10: Masai Mara - Diani Beach
Bush breakfast followed by game drive, back to Camp for lunch. Mid-afternoon, you will be transferred back to the Keekorok airstrip for your flight to Ukunda Airstrip. Your representative will welcome you upon arrival. You will be chauffeured to Afrochic Diani.
Day 11 - 14: Diani Beach
Some destinations are timeless; others are often well-kept secrets. Lying south of Mombasa, Kenya, on one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, Afrochic Diani is the perfect getaway for the discerning traveler who wants to simply ‘flop and drop’ and enjoy the spectacular views of exotic and ancient dhows in full sail. Miles of expansive and near deserted beaches await discovery, and for those who wish a more active way to spend the day, an 18-hole Championship Golf Course is within three minutes' drive from the hotel. Local boutiques, spas, and craft markets are a short ride away, and day trips to Shimba Hills Reserve and Mwaluganje Elephant Sanctuary add to the Kenyan coastal experience.
Day 15: Departure
Enjoy your last day in Kenya. You will be chauffeured to Mombasa International Airport. You will arrive at the airport in time for your international flight.
