Day by day program
Day 1: Arrive Lusaka
Today you arrive at Lusaka Airport, you will be met by a representative of Latitude 15, who will assist you to your transfer to the hotel.
Day 2: Lusaka - South Luangwa National Park
After breakfast, check out from Latitude 15 and you will be transferred to the airport for your light aircraft transfer to Mfuwe Airport. On arrival at Mfuwe you will road transferred to the lodge. Here you will enjoy 4 nights exploring. After a delicious meal and a cup of coffee, settle into your room before departing on your afternoon game drive. Bordering the Luangwa River, the northern and southern Luangwa National Parks contain some of the most breath-taking and untouched wilderness in Africa. As a result of this and the parks’ successful anti-poaching campaigns, the area has developed into a world-renowned wildlife haven. The South Luangwa National Park is renowned for its walking safari, which allows visitors to view elephant, hippo and even lion close-up under the supervision of professional and knowledgeable armed guides.
Day 3-5: South Luangwa
During these days you will explore the wilderness in South Luangwa. Enjoy the activities as set out by the lodge’s daily programme – Wake-up call >> Morning Safari >> Return for breakfast and time at leisure or opt for Bush walk. At midday enjoy a scrumptious lunch followed by a late Afternoon Safari returning in time for Dinner.
Day 6: South Luangwa - Lower Zambezi
After breakfast and the morning activity, you will check out from the lodge, and you will be transferred to the airport for your light aircraft flight to Jeki Airport. On arrival at the airport your guide will meet and assist you to your transfer to the lodge, check in and enjoy the afternoon activity. Lower Zambezi National Park is renowned for its abundant game and a variety of different wildlife can be spotted such as hippos, buffalo, crocodiles, fish eagles and herds of elephants. The landscape features rugged unspoilt wilderness made up of vast floodplains scattered with indigenous woodlands. Visitors can look forward to an array of wonderful activities along the Zambezi including game drives, walking safaris, canoe trips and excellent tiger fishing.
Day 7-8: Lower Zambezi
During these days you will explore the wilderness in Lower Zambezi. Enjoy the activities as set out by the lodge’s daily programme – Wake-up call >> Morning Safari >> Return for breakfast and time at leisure or opt for Bush walk or canoeing. At midday enjoy a scrumptious lunch followed by a late Afternoon Safari returning in time for Dinner.
Day 9: Lower Zambezi - Cape Town
After breakfast and the morning activity, check out and you will be transferred to the airport for your flight out. Fly to Jeki to Lusaka and connect to Cape Town International Airport. Arrival into Cape Town Airport, you will be met and transferred to Cape Grace hotel, where you will spend 4 nights. Situated on a private quay between Cape Town’s bustling V&A Waterfront and the tranquil yacht marina, there is no better position from where to soak in the natural beauty of our Mother City and the very essence of Cape Town living at its best.
Day 10 - 12: Cape Town
Days at leisure to enjoy the beautiful Cape Town. From contemporary art galleries to family-friendly beaches, gastronomic journeys to adrenalin-packed adventures, Cape Town is brimming with fun-filled ways to spend your days in South Africa’s ‘Mother City’. But if you’d rather stay in and relax at the hotel, you’ll find an array of wellness, culture and culinary delights.
Day 13: Departure
After breakfast this morning, you will board your transfer to Cape Town International Airport, where you will board your flight home.
