Day 1: Arrive Windhoek
Upon landing at Hosea Kutako International Airport, our friendly and knowledgeable guide will be there to meet you and provide a warm welcome to Namibia. From there, you will be smoothly transferred to your comfortable and cozy hotel, where you can unwind and relax after your flight. Take your time to settle in, enjoy the pleasant ambiance and take in the stunning scenery surrounding you. The remainder of the day is free for you to explore the city or simply unwind at the hotel. Let the excitement of your upcoming journey build as you look forward to the adventures that await you in Namibia.
Day 2: Windhoek - NamibRand Nature Reserve
After your arrival at Hosea Kutako International Airport, you will enjoy a delicious breakfast before checking out of your hotel and proceeding to the airport. Your flying safari adventure will begin with a flight to NamibRand Nature Reserve. Your pilot will fly you over the famous red dunes that seem to go on forever, giving you a bird's-eye view of the stunning landscape. Upon arrival, you will be greeted and transferred to Kwessi Dunes Lodge, nestled in the heart of the NamibRand Nature Reserve. Here, you can disconnect from the outside world and immerse yourself in the beauty of nature.
Day 3: Sossuvlei
Today is all about experiencing the natural beauty of NamibRand and Sossusvlei. You can choose to participate in various activities, such as hot air ballooning, guided nature walks, or game drives. Alternatively, you can simply relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings of the lodge. The NamibRand Nature Reserve is home to a diverse range of wildlife, including oryx, springbok, ostriches, and various species of birds. The Sossusvlei area is known for its towering red sand dunes and breathtaking landscapes, which you can explore on foot or by quad bike. Whatever you choose to do, this is a day that will leave you with unforgettable memories.
Day 4: NamibRand Nature Reserve - Hoanib Valley Camp
As the sun rises, enjoy breakfast before heading out to explore the Hoanib Valley. The valley is home to a wide variety of desert-adapted wildlife, including the rare desert-adapted elephant, giraffe, and lion. You may also spot the elusive brown hyena and the iconic Hartmann's mountain zebra. Your experienced guide will take you on game drives and nature walks to discover the unique flora and fauna of the area. In the afternoon, return to the camp for some downtime or take a dip in the refreshing pool. As the sun sets, gather around the campfire for a sundowner before indulging in a delicious dinner.
Day 5: Kaokoveld
After a hearty breakfast, it's time to begin your exploration of the breathtaking Hoanib Valley. This area is famous for its unique geology, wildlife, and culture. As you venture out, keep your eyes peeled for the desert-adapted elephant, giraffe, lion, black rhino, and mountain zebra. You will be accompanied by knowledgeable guides from the Giraffe Conservation Foundation, who will share their expertise on the local flora and fauna. Additionally, this area is home to the Himba people, one of the last great nomadic tribes in the world. You'll have the chance to interact with them and learn about their fascinating culture. If you prefer a more relaxed pace, you can spend time on your veranda, soaking in the incredible views before enjoying an exceptional dinner under the stars.
Day 6: Kaokoveld - Skeleton Coast
As you journey along the Skeleton Coast, you’ll witness the rugged beauty of the coastline with its shipwrecks and seal colonies, before arriving at your final destination, the Hoanib Skeleton Coast Camp. The camp is situated in one of the most remote areas of the country, providing an ideal base from which to explore the stunning landscape and wildlife of the Skeleton Coast. Enjoy dinner under the stars and fall asleep to the sound of the waves crashing on the shore.
Day 7: Skeleton Coast
Indulge in the luxury of the award-winning Shipwreck Lodge, where a plethora of activities awaits you. You can ride quad bikes, visit the Clay Castle, explore the seal colony or opt for a game drive. Alternatively, you can relax and simply take in the stunning views of the surrounding area. The Lodge is home to an array of wildlife including giraffes, lions, baboons, elephants, and the elusive brown hyena in the dunes. As you venture towards the coast, you'll come across the Mowe Bay Seal Colony which is home to hundreds of Cape fur seals, and observe various species of birds as they fly through the chilly ocean spray.
Day 8: Skeleton Coast - Windhoek
After enjoying your last breakfast at your lodge, you will be transferred to the airstrip to board your light aircraft for the flight to Hosea Kutako International Airport. Once you arrive at the airport, you will be met by your transfer and taken to your hotel for the night. The remainder of the day is yours to spend at your leisure. You may choose to explore Windhoek, the capital city of Namibia, with its blend of German colonial architecture and modern buildings. Or, you may prefer to relax at your hotel and reflect on the unforgettable experiences of your Namibian flying safari.
Day 9: Windhoek - Victoria Falls
After a delicious breakfast, it's time to bid farewell to Namibia as you check out from your hotel and proceed to Hosea Kutako International Airport. From here, you'll board your flight to Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe. Upon arrival at Victoria Falls Airport, you'll be greeted by a friendly representative who will transfer you to the luxurious Stanley & Livingstone Boutique Hotel, your home for the next few days. The hotel is located just a stone's throw away from the iconic Victoria Falls, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Get ready for an unforgettable experience as you immerse yourself in the natural beauty and adventure that this destination has to offer.
Day 10: Victoria Falls
At Victoria Falls, prepare to be awed by the sheer power and beauty of one of the world's greatest natural wonders. As you stand at the edge of the falls, you'll witness the mighty Zambezi River tumbling over the edge and plummeting into the gorge below, sending up a cloud of mist that can be seen from miles away. The sound of the water crashing against the rocks is truly thunderous, and the sight of the falls is nothing short of spectacular. But there's more to Victoria Falls than just the falls themselves - you can take a helicopter or microlight flight over the falls for an even more breathtaking view, or enjoy a range of activities like bungee jumping, white water rafting, and sunset cruises on the Zambezi River.
Day 11: Departure
After enjoying a delicious breakfast at Stanley & Livingstone, it's time to bid farewell to this magnificent destination. Check out and board your transfer to Victoria Falls Airport, where you will catch your flight back home.
