V&A Waterfront
Cape Town’s V&A Waterfront is one of the city’s most beloved locations. The area is an exciting collage of culture, boutiques, bars and restaurants. All come together to form Cape Town’s premier esplanade.

Table Mountain
The quickest way to reach the top of Table Mountain is on the modern aerial cableway which whisks visitors to the summit in just five minutes, with rotating cars offering spectacular views of the mountain, city and surrounding oceans. On the summit, a casual restaurant offers dining with a view, with well-marked walking trails if you’d like to explore further afield. The most popular walk is the easy path to Maclear’s Beacon, the summit of Table Mountain at 3563-feet above sea level.

Roben Island
Lying 10 kilometres offshore of Cape Town, this infamous island – declared a World Heritage Site in 1999 – is most famous for its role as a political prison during apartheid. Nelson Mandela spent 18 of his 27 years behind bars on this desolate island, and today informative tours bring the chequered history of the island to life. Ferry tours depart daily from the Clocktower Precinct in the V&A Waterfront.
