Faru Faru Lodge

Situated in the western corridor of the legendary Serengeti, Singita Faru Faru Lodge overlooks a natural waterhole and the tree line of the Grumeti River. The nine stone, canvas and thatched suites (including a family suite and a 2-bedroom villa) have the air of a classic safari camp, yet the interiors offer the ultimate in contemporary chic with panoramic glass windows, mirrored room dividers and claw-foot baths.

Due to the natural watering hole on-site, guests needn’t ever leave, as here, the safari comes to you. The surrounding grassland is so awash with wildlife that guests can lounge in the swimming pool overlooking the waterhole, recline in the Lodge’s elevated viewing decks, or unwind in the comfort of your luxurious room and watch as predators and prey are drawn right up to the lodge.

Set within Singita’s 350,000-acre private reserve in northern Tanzania, Faru Faru embodies a fresh take on African bush appeal and ushers in a new era of luxury wilderness safaris.

Sabora Tented Camp

Offering Africa’s most restorative safari experience under canvas, Singita Sabora Tented Camp awakens the senses and its seamless combination of private indoor and outdoor spaces allows for continuous game-viewing, reconnecting with nature and oneself, and finding much-needed stillness.

The main lodge area offers a unique “Guest Deli” features wicker baskets and fridges filled with gourmet bites, where guests can select treats to enjoy in their suites, as well as a separate pool area, two intimate dining spaces and an open-plan bar and lounge – all adding to Sabora’s understated look, which emphasises tailored luxury.

Offering superb game-viewing opportunities all year round, the camp is also set on the Great Wildebeest Migration route; and guided game walks on foot enhance experiencing the Serengeti up close.

The nine self-contained suites all include private pantries, dining and fitness areas, as well as meditation decks, where guests can rest, relax and immerse themselves in wellness activities like outdoor yoga, while outdoor salas with secluded daybeds overlooking one of Sabora’s two waterholes make for uninterrupted game-viewing.

With the tented suites set close to the ground, every sight, sound and smell of the bush is amplified and bespoke glass panelling welcome the Serengeti plains inside. Echoing the earthy colour palette of the bush, modern interpretations of campaign furniture evoke the timeless spirit of East African adventures.

Olmara Camp

Olmara camp offers eight tents designed to merge with the eco-environment, all under canvas, and with expansive views of the wilderness ahead. Each tented suite contains a lounge cove with comfortable couches and coffee table, dressing area with handcrafted cupboards, net-draped king-size bed with bedside tables and lamps, writing desks, full-length wall mirror, and soft carpets, laid over teak floors to wander along. The suite flows into an ensuite shower, double hand basins, and a flushing toilet. The camp is open, with no borders or rails, the wildlife comes and goes. Stay alert, eyes open; this is the Serengeti.

With its isolated location, the camp takes full advantage of the African night skies. Two tents have been designed as ‘star domes’; large open-rooftops where you may comfortably recline on large cushions and fall asleep beneath a natural planetarium. The evenings are beautiful with the borderless flow of clarity from the glowing moon to glittering stars, flickering planets, and a swish of the milky way: the vast, seemingly emptiness beyond stretched out for infinity; glorious and mesmerizing.

To the sound of the early dawn choir, the cap wakes for another day for discovery, the Serengeti beckons for another day of exploration and adventure.

As for activities, Olmara offers game drives, walking safaris, and hot air balloon rides. Game drives will take place twice daily, over the savanna of Soit le Motonyi and close to the acacia woodlands that border the rolling plains.  Wildlife you can expect to see here includes all the big cats – lion, leopard, and cheetah – in addition to Serval, elephant, giraffe, zebra, warthog, and hyena.

Walking safaris will be available for travelers aged 12 years and over, conducted in a beautiful and remote river valley. Our walks aim to bring you close to all things, large the small, hippo pods in river pools, fig encrusted kopjes, or the life of the insects.

Songa Tented Camp

Begin each morning with fragrant coffee in the open air with limitless views leading up to the most exhilarating game spectacle of them all – the Great Migration.

Situated in the northern Serengeti, Songa Tented Camp calls the hilly outcrops of Kogatende its home, and invites guests to chase the wildebeest migration with an explorer-styled tented camp as your own home base. Not far from the great Mara River, guests to Songa may find themselves witnessing the drama of the crossings – a true bucket list sighting for any safari enthusiast and wildlife lover.

The camp itself consists of eight en-suite tents and a family tent. Natural linen and joyful colors reflect the sense of adventure this environment brings, allowing you to feel connected to your surroundings as you follow the ever-moving migration. There is also the option book one side of the camp on an exclusive basis.

Mwiba Lodge

Overlooking a rocky gorge on the Arugusinyai river, Mwiba Lodge rises from the boulders surrounded by coral and acacia trees. Stretching out before you is a vast wildlife reserve vibrantly lush with colour-infused botanicals, 33 freshwater springs and a diverse array of wildlife.

Each of the 10 suites found at Mwiba Lodge are complete with private decks overlooking the rocky river below, large soaking tubs, outdoor rain showers, personal minibar and grand beds made for dreaming. The main lodge offers a jacuzzi moulded within the rockface as well as a pool overlooking the landscape, wistful living spaces, rejuvenating spa and gym, curated wine cellar and remarkable menus. An expansive pool is set on a rocky outcrop where guests can enjoy the resident wildlife that frequent the natural springs below.

Day and night game drives, bush walks, sundowners under the acacia terrace, bush lunches, and cultural immersions with the nearby villages are just a few of the magical experiences that begin here.
